Moo moo was dirty after photoshoot so me and mehz went to give it a quick wash and some body mask!

Drove to a secluded MSCP in the middle of the nite. A couple photo before we start.

After that we drove moo moo out to the roads.....and none of the flowers dropped off....heeeeee

Stat declaratioln

Mehmeh happily totter to ROM as many pretty girls there. A look around reveal us to be the only souls wearing berms & slippers/sandals there.

Heeeheee...ROM. ROM not bad ah, they called mehz twice in the same day to ask if we still wanna get marry a not!! Maybe that explains that 26 peanuts

Mehmeh anxiously waiting outside registry office......waiting for wireless @ sg to check my mail for solemniser number la! We distracted during the whole process actually, because we didnt remind solemniser + got no phone number of his with us! Went to the counter to read a whole chunk of I-cant-remember-what (Puddy just baa baaa at it at full speed....) while the other one not taking the oath tries to use hp to surf.

People marry take this gate, so we marry...also take this gate lor. Coz the china couple at the back was blocking the only way out!

It was raining in the morning...and i woke up awfully early , but it was pretty fun!

Hand bouquet

went to the fake flower shop near my house to do some shopping... Mehz was looking at some super huge sunflower but the aunties laff at us. and per stalk is expernsive!! So we reluctanly settled for the smaller sunflowers...

One auntie (not the boss) was particularly nice...went around the shop taking flowers to see match a not with our main flower...

it rained and rained and rained....so we start to watch tv while making the hand bouquet...

how will it turn out? heee heeee heeeee.....

Guo Da Li

My GDL stuff. There are

• 12 oranges
• 2 wines
• 6 boxes of biskies
• a very BIG angpow with very BIG amount of pinjin inside
• an angpow representing the rest of the stuff
• dayuan & xiaoyuan
• one packet of sesame peanut candy
  

My dowry

• bedsheet, pyjamas, bedroom slippers, toothbrush, toopaste, mug, towel, mirror, basin, comb - dono what these daily necessities are for...mebbe it means the in-law side wont bully me?!
  
• bowls & spoons & chopsticks - means got abundance foodie to eat!!!~
  
• sewing kit, thread, scissors - capable wife ok!!
• ruler - wealth
  
• fan - said to throw away all the temper
  

We look so happy right...until later sobz

Then we gave back to mehmeh:

• some angpows and towels for damsie and mehz family
• 2 bottles of orange juice
• an angpow representing more things
• 6 oranges
• and the kids :P

and the little steakii wanted to eat up the xi-bing!!!

gown fitting

Went with sy to elsie's again....The previous gown i chose...

Elsie matched an accesory for me and sy commented that the bust area seem too big...(means i small breast la) so I was 'coerced' & persuaded to try another gown.

The halter gown tt previously i wasnt able to fit into, now miraculously can zip!!~

With a veil and a tiara. They say the veil is to cover the fat arms!
Looking into the mirror....and felt this was nicer, so decided to abandon the first one.

GDL stuff bought!~

went shopping at Giant on sat for

• 12 oranges
• 2 bottles of wine
• 2 bottles of orange juice
  

spent sat morning writing ang pows, pasting xi stickers & tying red ribbons for all the GDL & dowry stuff

went shopping in Chinatown on sun for

• 10 boxes of xi bing
• one packet of sesame peanut candy
• da yuan & xiao yuan

I'm dreaming of a white......new mattress (with bedframe)

It's christmas round the corner and I oft get request from peeps like do I want any marry gift?

Actually...I do! Other than money (which is spent in abundance in weddings - but that one cannot outright ask for it right?), the other thing I think we need is a new mattress! The current one pokes me with the springs and the center sags down. Next time must carry 2 people weight I really think it will sag down even more!

Of coz....a new mattress is best with a new bedframe mah! That day we changed the bedsheet, the wood below already have cracks liao. No wonder always creak and creak. Haiz.

Hope some uncle/aunties/whoever will sponsor us a white mattress for christmas!

Taggie board!

This broggie is becoming like a boredom killer...I just post nonsense here everytime something/someonepisses my ass off!!

Anyway the purpose of this bo liao post is....

I wasnt able to find the comments button...for some weird reason even after playing with the settings...so...have set up a tag board on the left panel. Duno will have anyone tag a not leh, so if you are reading this...TAG us!!!

Favours

We had thot of our favours eons ago & we both agreed immediately (haha rare). However when it came to executing it, it wasnt so easy.

First we thot the shop was still there, and went to find. However, after 3 shopping malls later, we realised the shop dao bi liao. Even calling their number also not in use.

So there was an internet search to find other shops that sell the same kind of product. One company we called even tell us to call their Malaysia number because they dono who distributes in Singapore -_-

Anyway, we found a more expensive alternative, and without trying...just by smelling...we decided on it coz it looks nice.

After that we measured with a tsp and packed it into ziplocks, and realised that no organza pouch looks nice.

So finally mehz went to buy the nice pouches at South Bridge Road and we all tottered home to cut the gift tags (heee, some savings here because it was printed on the leftover invites envelopes). Lucky gift tags are small, so if its sang-eh it doesnt look obvious at all.

Mehz was in-charge of scooping and puddy put them into the pouches with the gift tags. Steakii, as usual, offers moral support.

It's all done!!! And steakii likes it so much that she's gonna eat them all up before it gets to the guests!

Pantang!

Alamak today puddy recieve a facebook msg, my fav junior just said she cant come for my wedding coz her mum don allow...and her mum don allow because....she's also getting married...like few days before. =(

a bit sad la, but never mind....older generation just wants the best, and if it pleases them...we just have to accomodate.

I have 2 colleagues who also getting amrried like a few weeks in btwn also face this problem. Is all happy thing also cannot....sigh

Invites done!

The design of the invites are finally done!
After mehz left cupboard at night, puddy finished cutting up all the holes.
Then during lunch i went to textile centre to get more supplies to decor the envelope


Above is a picture of mehmeh looking at the invite to decide how to decor the envelope. We spend lots of time placing it in different ways ....before deciding on the easiest method.

The actual execution is a bit time consuming though, we only finished 2 last nite T_T

Each invite actually costs slightly less $0.50 ($0.4962956296.... to be exact) & lots of sleepless nites & blood & sweat, so please don throw it away

Invites

After lunch we started making changes to the phrasing of the card & choosing the fonts. www.dafonts.com is a good place for fonts. Also took out all my wedding invites from others to see exactly what to write.

Then went to office to print the cards. Wasted some time setting up the printer to accomodate the margins. Then mehmeh had to cut the thing using the trimmer (also my office have) . But it wasnt very accurate, so have to trim the cards so that the edges wont show a line....

Here you see deft lamb totters folding the envelopes, while puddy does the pen-knifing of the cards & sticking of envelopes. Lil steakii just offers moral support.

Still not completed though...one last step.....leave for next weekend bah~

we are so not panicky

Jean came by yesterday nite to pass me some useful stuff...
heee, can the green tea choco that will make me fatter :P

And we made a trip today for some papers....for the cards~
Mehz & I spent like more than an hour there looking for his perfect paper! He found the card one immediately and cannot stop admiring it even after priniting it the next day.

However we weren't so lucky for the envelopes, we went round and round (actually just puddy...taking out all sorts of papers in the yellow-gold-baby blue kinda range for him to say "NO".

we have actually given up when puddy pulled out some papers in the bottom of the tray (some papers have 2 colors in a tray coz no enuff space - abit hard to pullout the one at the middle) and he say...hmm..this looks nice. And we got the darker shade one.
